Italian pig iron imports fall in September
Italian pig iron imports in September totalled 85,000 tonnes, compared to 225,000t recorded between July and August, Kallanish learns from local raw materials trading company, Alocci Rappresentanze Industriali. The lower volume of landings could have been influenced by the restart of the Arvedi-owned steel mill in Trieste, the trader adds.
