Ezz Flat Steel EAF upgrade improves productivity
Italian technology company More S.r.I. has upgraded an electric arc furnace at Ezz Flat Steel (EFS) in Ain Sokhna by installing its M-One injection technology, More says.
The new technology will enable electricity energy consumption to decrease by 30 kWh/tonne, power-on time decline by three minutes, and electrode consumption down by 20%. Productivity will increase by 6 tonnes/hour.
