Italy’s Feralpi reports stable 2019 earnings
Italian rebar maker Feralpi produced 2.5 million tonnes of steel in 2019. This was broadly in line with the results achieved in 2018 despite last year’s contraction in steel production both in Italy and Germany, the company says in its earnings report seen by Kallanish.
However, the firm saw production of rolled products increase 7.9% year-on-year and cold-rolled products specifically by 12.9%.
