Italian vehicle output surges on-year to end-September
Italian passenger car production grew by 69% year-on-year in the first nine months of the year to 493,000 units, Kallanish learns from the Italian automotive industry association, Anfia. This was 200,000 units more compared to the same period in 2014, the association says.
Most of the additional 200,000 vehicles were produced by the Fiat Chrysler group operation in Melfi, Southern Italy, Anfia says.
