Italian automotive production set to grow in 2016
Italian motor vehicle manufacturing is on the upswing with significant growth expected in 2016, Kallanish learns from the country's automotive industry association Anfia.
Italian automotive production is seen to grow by 7-9% year-on-year in 2016 to 1.7 million units. Meanwhile passenger car production increased by 45% y-o-y to 57,000 units in January. Nearly half of the country’s total output is destined to exports, the association adds.
