ISM: Manufacturing grows, slows in April
US manufacturing activity appears to have slowed but still expanded in April, Kallanish learns from the Institute for Supply Management.
The institute’s purchasing manager’s index hit 52.8% in April, down 2.5 percentage points from March but in positive territory. Readings above 50% generally indicate growth.
