Iron ore steady as Hancock boosts Atlas holding

Seaborne iron ore prices started the market after the Chinese holiday with little movement despite a little more deal-making on platforms. Hancock, meanwhile, has now toped 89% holding in Atlas Iron. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index for Australian fines gained $0.05/t to $69.05/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao.
