Iron ore steady as China welcomes Roy Hill
Seaborne iron ore prices saw little movement on Wednesday amid slow buying. Roy Hill meanwhile says it will deliver its first cargo to China next week, reminding the market of strong supply.
The Kallanish index for 62% Fe Australian fines slipped $0.23/t to $53.44/dry metric ton cfr Qingdao. 140,000 tonnes of Carajas fines traded on globalORE at a $0.75/t premium to an established index.
