Iron ore rallies as Rio declares more ore
Seaborne iron ore prices rallied on Thursday on the back of a spurt in spot buying. Rio Tinto meanwhile says it has found more ore at its deposits.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $0.39/tonne to $85.68/dry metric ton cfr Qingdao. On COREX, 170,000 tonnes of Brazilian Blend sold at $88.30/t with a laycan in 29 March-7 April.
