Iron ore prices remain stuck
Seaborne iron ore prices barely moved yet again on Friday as spot seaborne deals were limited and mills have little incentive to boost buying as the winter restriction period approaches. In Australia meanwhile Hancock’s takeover of Atlas appeared just as slow, and it has added a week to its offer.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index for Australian fines gained just $0.01/tonne to $69.01/dry metric ton cfr Qingdao. That was also down $0.21/t week-on-week. …
