Iron ore gains but inventories rise

Seaborne iron ore prices are ending 2015 on a surprise high as steel prices have recovered on lower steel output and sentiment has finally begun to firm. The short term outlook seems less bleak than some had feared but fundamentals still suggest iron ore will fall, with inventories rising and steel output still likely to fall.
