Iron ore concentrate output rises 3% last Iranian year
Iranian iron ore concentrate production increased 3% on-year in the Iranian year through 19 March to 25.8 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organisation (Imidro).
Gol Gohar was the largest producer with 10.16mt, followed by Chadormalu with 8.72mt and Central Iron Ore with 3.47mt. Middle East Mines and Mineral Industry Development came next with 2.51mt, followed by Sangan with 935,383t.
