Irepas expects European longs upturn after better-than-expected January
The global long products market is unpredictable but signals suggest a market turn any time soon, at least in the EU, says the International Rebar Exporters and Producers Association (Irepas).
Europe seemingly managed to avoid recession in 2022 and even in January, Germany showed economic growth. Core inflation is going down and the situation looks much better than previously expected in Europe and the US, Irepas says.
