Iranian two-month exports plummet, CRC output surges

Iranian semi-finished steel exports in the first two months of the Iranian year through 20 March 2021 slumped -54% on-year to 414,000 tonnes, the Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) reports on its online Chilan portal. Billet and bloom comprised 343,000t of exports and slab accounted for 71,000t. Finished steel exports in the two months through 20 May, meanwhile, fell -40% to 247,000t.
