Iranian steel production declines

Iranian finished steel output declined 5.5% on-year in the first nine months of the Iranian year, or 21 March-21 December 2021. Electricity supply curtailment from the first week of July until mid-September pulled down production severely, according to an Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) note on its online Chilan portal.
