Iranian steel output begins new year with surge
Iranian crude steel production rose 20% on-year in the month through 20 April, the first of the new Iranian year, to 2.81 million tonnes, according to Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) data monitored by Kallanish. This came, however, from a low base impacted by the initial Covid-19 outbreak last year.
