Iranian slab exports accelerate, steel use growth slows
Iranian slab exports accelerated still further in the month through 22 July. This has taken shipments abroad in the four months through 22 July up 228% on-year to 1.2 million tonnes, according to newly-released Iranian Steel Producers Association data monitored by Kallanish. The development has come about as domestic slab apparent consumption fell -16% to 2.09mt.
