Iranian slab export and flats consumption growth continue

Iranian slab exports accelerated again in the month through 22 August, taking five-month-through-22-August shipments abroad up 246% on-year to 1.45 million tonnes. This is according to newly-released Iranian Steel Producers Association data monitored by Kallanish. Domestic apparent use fell -16% to 2.59mt.
