Iranian seven-month steel output soars
Iranian finished steel output inched up in the first seven months of the Iranian calendar, or 21 March-22 October. Shifting power supply to steelmakers at night, amid daytime power outages during the summer, enabled steel producers to raise production, according to an Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) note on its online Chilan portal.
