Iranian semis exports surge in April-October
Iranian crude steel production grew 8% on-year in the seven months through 21 October to 10.74 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organisation (Imidro).
Iranian finished steel output in the seven months, however, declined -4% to 10.29mt.
Crude steel exports in those seven months surged 103% to 1.999mt, while finished product shipments abroad rose 5% to 1.3mt.
