Iranian semis exports, steel consumption slump further

Iranian billet exports slumped again in the month through 20 January after rebounding in the previous month, while slab exports declined further. Billet exports in the ten months through 20 January dropped 15% on-year to 2.51 million tonnes, according to Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) data published on ISPA’s online Chilan portal, monitored by Kallanish.
