Iranian rebar exports, consumption shine in tough year
Iranian semi-finished product exports ended the Iranian year through 20 March 2019 down -29% on-year at 4.9 million tonnes, according to Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) data monitored by Kallanish.
Slab lead the fall with a -44% slump in exports to 1.59mt, while billet shipments abroad fell -18% to 3.31mt.
