Iranian major steelmakers' annual exports plummet
Nine major Iranian steelmakers reported a -44% on-year decline in combined steel exports in the month through 20 March to 457,585 tonnes, according to the Iranian Steel Producers Association.
Khouzestan Steel (KSC) saw exports drop -30% to 183,523t, while Esfahan Steel (Esco)’s shipments abroad fell -27% to 91,654t and Mobarakeh Steel (MSC)’s standalone exports were down -61% to 94,353t.
