Iranian HRC exports accelerate, rebar shipments rebound
Iranian hot rolled coil export growth accelerated in the Iranian month through 21 May, taking two-month-through-21 May shipments abroad up a whopping 813% on-year to 137,000 tonnes. This is according to Iranian Steel Producers (ISPA) data monitored by Kallanish.
After rising in the month through 20 April, however, Iranian two-month apparent HRC consumption fell -6% to 1.32 million tonnes. Imports declined -72% to 50,000t.
