Iranian finished steel output growth continues
Iranian finished steel output rose 10% on-year in the nine months through 20 December to 16.61 million tonnes, the Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) says on its online Chilan portal.
Long products accounted for 8.7mt and flats for 7.9mt.
Rebar output grew 15% to 7.1mt, while beam production increased 18% to 1mt. Hot rolled coil output rose 6% to 6.6mt, while cold rolled coil production rose 4% to 2mt. Coated sheet production however dropped to 1.2…
