Iranian exports start year with a bang
Iranian steel exports began the new Iranian year with a bang, soaring 156% on-year in the month through 20 April to 831,000 tonnes, according to Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) data monitored by Kallanish.
The exports however came from a low base as last year’s shipments were curbed by government-imposed export restrictions and the coronavirus outbreak.
