Iranian exports soar as consumption grows slowly
Iranian steel exports surged 118% on-year in the two months through 21 May to 1.44 million tonnes, although this was from a low, Covid-19-impacted base, according to Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) data monitored by Kallanish. Exports are seen growing after the easing of export restrictions from 1 June.
