Iranian crude steel output growth outpaces finished steel
Iranian crude steel production was flat on-year in the month through 21 July at 1.36 million tonnes, while finished product output fell -1% to 1.37mt, Kallanish learns from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organisation (Imidro).
In the four months through 21 July, or first four months of the Iranian year, crude steel output rose 3% on-year to 6.06mt.
