Iranian crude steel output growth causes DRI shortage
Iranian crude steel production rose 10% on-year in the 11 months through 19 February to 25 million tonnes, according to an Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) report published on its online Chilan portal.
Billet output accounted for 15.3mt and slab production was 9.6mt.
