Iranian billet exports plunge in November
Iranian billet exports plunged steeply in the month through 21 November, Kallanish notes from newly-published Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) data. Billet exports in the eight months through 21 November fell -14% on-year to 2 million tonnes, in comparison to a 1% rise after seven months.
Eight-month slab exports declined -29%, deepening from a -24% seven-month drop to 1.35mt.
