Iranian billet exports continue strong growth
Iranian billet exports surged 40% on-year in the three months through 21 June to 1.05 million tonnes, but slab shipments fell -15% to 803,000t. This is according to Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) data published on ISPA’s online Chilan portal.
Iranian finished steel exports surged 111% in the three months to 633,000t, slowing from their 219% growth after two months. The highest growth in exports was seen in hot rolled coil below…
