Iranian annual steel output grows
Iranian finished steel output in the Iranian year from 21 March 2022 to 20 March 2023 increased by 10% on-year to 21.59 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
Due to better-managed electricity restrictions for steelmakers last summer, an increase was recorded for nearly all steel products, besides cold rolled coil and coated coils, the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) says on its online Chilan portal.
