Iranian 11-month steel exports inch down
Iranian exports of iron and steel products inched down during the first 11 months of the Iranian calendar year (21 March 2022-19 February 2023). The government decree obliging exporters to exchange foreign income using the Nima exchange rate, which is nearly 25% lower than the free market, has hampered exports, Kallanish notes.
