Iran steel exports slump further in June
Steel exports by major Iranian mills slumped -46% on-year in the three months through 20 June, the first quarter of the Iranian calendar year, to 901,126 tonnes. So says the Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) on its online Chilan portal.
Semi-finished steel exports fell -43% to 810,244t, with billet shipments down -32% to 605,757t and slab deliveries down -61% to 204,487t.
