Iran, South Africa see May steel output plunge
Iran dragged the combined crude steel output of Middle Eastern countries in May down 10% on-year, although it was up 3.4% on-April, to 3.5 million tonnes, according to the latest worldsteel data. South African output meanwhile plummeted 40% on-month.
