Iran reports iron and steel production increase
Iran accelerated its steel output growth in the second month of the Iranian calendar month. Ordibehest runs from 21 April to 21 May. The country's semis and finished steel production increased on-month by 6.3% and 12.8%, respectively. However, direct reduced iron output was down 2.7% on-month to 3.31mt, from 3.40mt recorded in the previous month, notes Kallanish.
