Iran inaugurates iron ore concentration, pellet plants
Opal Parsian Sangan has inaugurated its 5 million tonnes/year capacity iron ore pelletising plant joint venture with the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organisation (Imidro).
The plant is 60% owned by Parsian Bank and 40% by Imidro. It began production last summer, and produced 1.43 million tonnes of pellet through 21 November 2017, according to Imidro statistics.
