Interpipe’s steel production, railway sales fall
Ukrainian pipemaker Interpipe decreased crude steel production in January-October, the company says. The volume amounted to 641,100 tonnes, down by -13.9% on-year, Kallanish notes. The output of pipe fell by -24.5% to 238,100t.
Production of railway products also declined in January-October, by -4.8% to 161,100t.
In October alone the company produced 62,800t of crude steel, 15,400t of railway products and 38,300t of pipe.
