Interpipe’s steel production falls, railway sales ramps up
Ukrainian pipemaker Interpipe decreased crude steel production in January-July, the company says. The volume amounted to 450,100 tonnes, down by -19.8% on-year, Kallanish notes. The output of pipe fell by -32.5% to 267,600t.
However, the enterprise increased the production of railway products in January-July by 0.5% on-year to 115,900t.
In July alone the company produced 57,000t of steel, 14,100t of railway products and 34,000t of pipe.
