Interpipe’s steel production falls in January-February
Ukrainian pipemaker Interpipe decreased crude steel production in January-February, the company says. The volume amounted to 113,600 tonnes, down by 18% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In February alone, the company produced 58,800t of steel, while in January it was 55,200t.
The company’s 2020 output and sales of all products decreased due to the Covid-19 pandemic, high costs and decline in demand. Crude steel production fell to 758,700t, down by 11.2% on-year. O…
