Interpipe’s 2021 steel output increases despite restrictions
Ukrainian pipemaker Interpipe increased crude steel production in 2021 to 971,000 tonnes, up by 28% on-year, Kallanish notes. This was higher than output growth in January-November of 16.5% on-year.
In December alone, production increased to 93,000t of steel from 88,000t in November.
In 2020, the pipemaker reduced steel output by 11.2% on-year to 758,700t.
