Interpipe continues US shipments despite duty ruling
Interpipe will continue to supply pipe to the US, despite the US commerce department applying an anti-dumping duty of 7.5% on imports from the Ukrainian pipemaker from 10 July (see Kallanish 16 July), the company says.
As part of a 2014 agreement, Interpipe has been supplying oil and gas pipe to the US duty-free in exchange for complying with the minimal price order, issued by the US trade authorities every six months. The company is already in the process …
