Interpipe increases steel production, pipe output stable
Ukraine-based Interpipe’s pipe production in January-September 2023 remained flat on-year at 309,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
Pipe production in the third quarter alone decreased by 4.8% compared to Q2 to 100,000t.
Sales of pipe products in January-September rose 17.3% on-year to 300,000t. The bulk was sent to Europe, 104,000t, while another 100,000t of products were shipped to the Ukrainian market, 48,000t to the US and 36,000t to the Middles East.
