Interpipe’s March sales rise, but first quarter down
Ukrainian pipe and rail products manufacturer Interpipe increased March output and sales, but first-quarter sales were down on-year.
Consolidated sales in March increased by 23.8% on-month to 69,400 tonnes, after February sales failed to recover, as was expected by Ukrainian Concorde analysts (see Kallanish passim). Interpipe produced 43,400t of pipe in March, 13.4% up on-month, and 19,000t of railway products, 4.3% up on February.
