Tsingshan to commission Indonesian NPI expansion
China’s biggest stainless steelmaker Tsingshan Group will fully commission the third phase of its nickel pig iron capacity in Indonesia soon, according to the China Stainless Steel Council (CSSC). The 600,000 tonnes/year third phase project is divided into two parts, with the first 300,000 t/y capacity commissioned in December last year, Kallanish notes.
