Indonesia plans Krakatau capital injection

The Indonesian government has submitted a plan to inject IDR 53.98 trillion ($3.94 billion) into 24 state-owned firms, including PT Krakatau Steel. The move could still be rejected by parliament, as was the last such measure, Kallanish notes. PT Perushaan Listrik Negara is expected to get IDR 23.56 trillion of the injection as it plans to build several power plants.
