Tsingshan Indonesia's Hengjaya launches ferronickel production
According to official news from Tsingshan, the No.1 furnace of its Indonesian Hengjaya Nickel Industry (HNI) joint venture officially began operations on 22 January. The Shanghai Pudong Government website gives the capacity of this project as being around 150,000 tonnes/year of ferronickel, Kallanish notes.
