Indonesia Dexin orders converter from MCC
Indonesia Dexin Steel has signed an EPC contract with MCC International Company for expanding steelmaking capacity at Dexin's Indonesian steel plant.
The contract includes the construction of a new 120-tonne converter and converting a hot-rolled rebar line to a wire rod line, Kallanish notes. The steelmaker looks to increase its steelmaking capacity from 3.5 million tonnes/year to 6m t/y in the expansion project.
