RINL billet price surges on recent tender
India’s Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) has concluded its recent ocean export tender for 150mm 3SP/4SP grade billet at $720.5/tonne fob India. This follows the previous tender concluded at $648/t fob India on 15 February, Kallanish notes.
The company had invited two-part biddings for 150mm 3SP/4SP grade billet. The minimum bid quantity was 15,000 tonnes and maximum 30,000t. According to sources, the billet will be destined for Turkey.
