India’s November steel, pig iron, DRI production grows
Indian crude steel production inched up 6% on-year to 10.44 million tonnes in November, against 9.88mt produced a year ago, according to worldsteel data. On-month, the crude steel production was noted stable against 10.45mt produced in October. In January-November, output grew 6% on-year to 114.18mt, Kallanish notes.
Pig iron production in November also grew 9% on-year at 6.74mt; output grew by 3% to 72.78mt during January-November.
